Instructions:

LIVE Lesson -
Open the warm-up (WU7) while we wait for students to join. We will go over the warmup. You do not need to turn in the warmup.

Please have the Math Journal and Extra Practice (U4L8 3s Table MJ EP) printed or pulled up so you can follow along. We will go through the Google Slides, Nearpod and Math Journal together. You do not need to open the Google Slides or open the Nearpod for the LIVE Lesson.

RELAY -
Please follow the instructions below if you did not attend the LIVE Lesson.

Complete the Warmup (WU8). You do not need to turn this in. It is to get your brain in math mode.

Please open the Google Slides and follow along with the Math Journal (U4L8 3s Table MJ EP). You will complete the math journal and the extra practice and turn in both. There is a Nearpod as well for you to go through for additional support on how to use the distributive property as a strategy for multiplication.

The Extra Practice is a 2 person game similar to tic tac toe. It is to practice the 3s times table. You will need to print out the board and cards. Cut out the cards and place them on the game board. You will draw a card and solve the problem, if you got it correct you can place and 'x' or 'o' on the board. Then the next person goes. You can play against a sibling, parent, friend. I will even zoom with you if you would like to play with me.

The Warmup and Math Journal are the only things you need to turn in for this lesson. You do not need to turn in the extra practice.
